IT'S FINALLY OVER
After months of hype and countless on-air plugs, View cohost Star Jones married banker Al Reynolds Saturday in a star-studded, heavily-comped ceremony in Manhattan. Among the VIP guests: Patti LaBelle, Natalie Cole, Vivica A. Fox, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Jones' four View cohosts. The bride wore a Reem Acra-designed strapless gown that featured a 27-foot train underwritten by Amtrak.

ABC has said "I do" to Extreme Makeover: Wedding Edition, a one-hour special that, if successful, could become a weekly series, Variety reports. Mirroring the Home Edition formula, the latest EM spin-off will recruit couples whom ABC believes deserve an all-expense-paid ceremony and that, ultimately, will make grown men cry like little girls.
I KNEW IT!
Well, not really. Model/actress Rachel Hunter has been unmasked as the new Ginger on TBS' upcoming reality update of The Real Gilligan's Island. "I always wanted to do a reality show, and this was just the perfect adventure," she tells USA Today, apparently forgetting her stint as a judge on ABC's Are You Hot? (not to mention as Rod Stewart's wife). Hunter will join a real-life skipper, first mate, millionaire couple, farm girl and professor in the Survivor-esque series, which premieres Nov. 30.
HOLY GRAIL!
Tom Hanks is the front-runner to headline Ron Howard's big-screen adaptation of Dan Brown's best-selling phenom The Da Vinci Code, Newsweek reports. Shooting on the Columbia Pictures project is expected to get underway next year.
'TOON BATTLE
The Incredibles fended off the arrival of The Polar Express to grab the top spot at the box office for the second straight weekend. The Disney/Pixar masterpiece grossed another $51 million, lifting its 10-day total to $144.1 million. Polar, meanwhile, pulled in at No. 2 with a relatively chilly $23.5 million. Pierce Brosnan's crime caper After the Sunset landed at No. 3 with $11.5 million, followed by Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (No. 4 with $8.9 million on only 530 screens) and Seed of Chucky (No. 5 with $8.8 million).
PAGING DONALD TRUMP...
CBS News has reportedly fired the "overly aggressive" producer who interrupted the final minutes of CSI: NY last Wednesday with a special report on Yasser Arafat's death. Standard procedure requires that a senior CBS executive be consulted before interrupting regular programming.
SPLITSVILLE
Lindsay Lohan's six-month romance with That '70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama has come to an end. "They have broken up, but are still friends," Valderrama's rep told the Associated Press. The split was first reported Friday during the last five minutes of CBS's Joan of Arcadia.
IN LIEU OF DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES...
R&B hottie Usher and hip-hoppers Outkast were the big winners at last night's American Music Awards, collecting a combined seven trophies. Alicia Keys, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith and Sheryl Crow also picked up awards, while dazed and confused presenter Anna Nicole Smith picked up a citation for mixing TrimSpa and Xanax.
LISTEN UP, FOLKS
After seven years and three failed sitcoms, the Seinfeld curse officially came to an end Friday when CBS picked up Jason Alexander's new family comedy Listen Up for the entire season. Speaking of evil curses, the network also ordered two more episodes of Center of the Universe, which has managed to retain much of its King of Queens lead-in despite my relentless campaign to kill it.
MYSTERY DEATH
The music world is mourning the death of rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard, who collapsed at a Manhattan recording studio Saturday after complaining of chest pains. He was 35. Although a cause of death was not known, ODB recently completed a prison sentence for drug possession and escaping a rehab clinic. An autopsy report is set to be released later this week.
DISSING PRIVATE RYAN
The FCC claims it received a number of viewer complaints about ABC's uncensored broadcast of Saving Private Ryan last Thursday. In the end, 30 percent of ABC's stations — fearing reprisals from the FCC — boycotted Ryan. It was unclear how many complaints were logged, but sources confirm that anything in excess of three would be deeply disturbing.
SHORT CUTS
Denzel Washington will play Brutus in a limited Broadway run of Julius Caesar, which begins previews March 1... Harry Lampert, the illustrator behind the DC Comics superhero The Flash, died Saturday of cancer. He was 88.
WORKING GIRL
Yes, Virginia, America's Next Top Model rejects actually do work after exiting the mannequin contest. TV Guide Online has learned that Avenue, a full-figured women's fashion-retailer with 500 stores nationwide, wants plus-sized castoff Toccara Jones as their new spokesmodel. "There's certainly room on the runway for the likes of Toccara," says Avenue CEO Raphael Benaroya. "She should give us a call!"
