Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek divorces wife of almost six years.
According to court records filed in Los Angeles, Van Der Beek and his wife Heather Ann McComb filed for the BIG D.
They separated earlier this year and have no children.
Van Der Beek who toplined as the titular Dawson, 32, married Heather in a splashy Fourth of July nups in 2003 at Malibu.
No reason has been given for the split but his rep says the couple remain "good friends."
Since the show ended its run, Van Der Beek's costars Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson have emerged as big stars.
Van Der Beek, despite his early promise, has fallen apparently to the wayside.
